Our sauces are great on just about anything but here are a few suggestions of thing to eat them on:
- Tacos
- Poached Salmon
- Popcorn
- Potato Chips
- Grilled Lamb
- Tortilla Chips
- Oysters
Toluca Jalapeno Butter (For a hotter alternative, substitute Jalapeno with Toluca Habanero)
- 1 stick of soft un-salted butter
- 2 tablespoons of Toluca Salsa Jalapeno
- 2 Limes finely zested
- The juice of half a lime
- ½ teaspoon of salt (or add more if you want - but too much salt isn't good for you)
Mix all of above together by hand or with a mixer. Pour it onto plastic wrap or wax paper, roll it up into a sausage shape and put in freezer. Once hardened; you're ready to go.
So you ask what do I do with this butter? Well, here are some suggestions: slather it on grilled corn or toasted bread (delicious for breakfast with a cup of joe), mix it into freshly popped popcorn, a dollop on grill or steam veggies, yummy on any grilled meat or fish...the rest is up to your imagination.
